    Appalachian Ministries is a nonprofit outreach program to assist special needs children and families in Kentucky. We distribute clothing, gifts and school supplies, host activities and field trips and stress the importance of education, hard work and a personal relationship with God.

  • Chicks in Crisis, Sacramento
    The organization facilitates open adoption placements into loving homes across California and the United States. Additionally, for the mothers and fathers that choose to keep their babies, Chicks in Crisis supports approximately 400 mothers and fathers monthly with prenatal care, life skills training, parenting assistance, clothes, emergency food, baby supplies, and legal guidance.
  • Christel House International
    Christel House transforms the lives of impoverished children around the world — breaking the cycle of poverty and building self-sufficient, contributing members of society. Robust K-12 education and a strong character development program are complemented with regular health care, nutritious meals, guidance counseling, career planning, family assistance and College & Careers support.

    The Mission of The Living Room is to ease adversity and promote stability, dignity and self-reliance for women and children who are homeless, or at-risk of homelessness, in Sonoma County.

Entry into the program is limited, and each step is extremely rigorous. But those who see it through end up with rewarding, happy, and productive lives – for themselves, and for their children.

    EXPOSURE is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through skateboarding. We create opportunities for women by organizing events that provide all-female Professional and Amateur skateboarding competitions, learn-to-skate clinics and wellness education. Proceeds from our events support survivors of domestic violence.
